Optional Hardware
Two or more hard disks (we currently support up to four drives with a Promise IDE controller)
Two drives required for RAID 1 (mirroring)
Three or four drives required for RAID 5 support
For RAID systems, we recommend using identical hard drives
For motherboards that do not support high capacity hard drives, a Promise PCI hard disk controller card is required. (Most retail hard disks ship with this controller card enclosed)
