System Requirements

• PC* with Pentium 1 or compatible processor motherboard with PCI bus
• One hard drive
• 64MB or more RAM
• Ethernet network card or motherboard with a built-in NIC
• Keyboard
• Video card

*Please Note: reByte™ will not work with laptop computers)

Optional Hardware

• Two or more hard disks (we currently support up to four drives with a Promise IDE controller)
• Two drives required for RAID 1 (mirroring)
• Three or four drives required for RAID 5 support
• For RAID systems, we recommend using identical hard drives
• For motherboards that do not support high capacity hard drives, a Promise PCI hard disk controller card is required. (Most retail hard disks ship with this controller card enclosed)
