If can install a hard drive in a computer, you have the skills you need to install a reByte kit.

Here's a step by step list:

1. Open your PC case
2. Connect the reByte card to your master hard disk cable
3. Connect your hard drives
4. Velcro your reByte card to the inside of your PC
   (Velcro is supplied with the kit)
5. Connect your keyboard, monitor and network cable and power up!

A few technical notes for you techies:

• The reByte card is a special flash-based IDE card that is installed as your IDE1 MASTER device. It acts like your primary hard disk.
• You can add 1-3 hard disks on your motherboard, giving you no RAID (1 drive), RAID 1 (two drives) or RAID 5 (three drives). If you install an optional Promise IDE card, you can add four drives for full RAID 5 support.
• reByte uses software RAID.
